A unique event celebrating diversity and commonality, based around a cultural exchange between five North East based and five visiting Turkish artists:

Alper Akcay, Deniz Aygun, CLAIRE, David Foggo, Paul Grimmer, Genco Gulan, Insel Inal, Funda Karakus, Carole Luby and Sally Madge.

INX will present exciting, newly developed performance and installation works that investigate boundaries and thresholds, power and balance, difference and equality, manipulation and the truth.

Kicking of on Monday 9th November at 3pm and continuing over two days the Star and Shadow will house a variety of performances and interventions to encourage curiosity and debate.

On Tuesday 10th at 6.30pm there will be an open and informal discussion giving both artists and audience an opportunity to respond to the work and reflect on their experiences, challenges and achievements of working across borders.

Then from 8pm we launch into the post-performance party…a creative fusion of east meets west…with live music from Kid Kirby, Humble Toad, and DJ Butler, visuals from Toby Lloyd, dancing from Radio Controlled Kittens, food, bar and more surprises to come!

INX is part of an ongoing series of international exchanges organised by 25 Stratford Grove.
